CONGRATULATIONS to Hoyland couple Valerie and Trevor Melluish who celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on Thursday.
Trevor, a retired welder and keen sportsman, met Valerie when he came over from Sheffield to spend the day fishing with Valerie’s cousin.
The couple have two daughters and three grandsons.
They received a letter from the King to mark their 60th wedding anniversary celebration.
