THE January transfer slammed shut last night - and Barnsley FC left it late with a number of signings.
Striker Oli Shaw joined the club earlier in the day from Kilmarnock, whilst Jack Aitchison went the other way back to Scotland as he signed for Motherwell.
The Reds signed young goalkeeper Adam Hayton from Tottenham Hotspur on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Jamie Searle is likely to be loaned out to an overseas club.
Michael Duff’s side finished their business by picking up Huddersfield’s Jon Russell on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Russell came through the Chelsea academy and spent the 2020/21 season on loan to League One Accrington Stanley.
He then moved to Huddersfield and has played 24 Championship games, as well as last year’s play-off final.
What do you make of the club’s business in the transfer window?
