BARNSLEY have announced the loan signing of Serbian youth international Slobodan Tedic from Manchester City.

The 22-year-old forward most recently spent time in the Netherlands with PEC Zwolle, making 38 appearances in the top flight.

He will be on loan at Oakwell for the 2022/23 season.

Barnsley’s CEO Khaled El-Ahmad said: “We are pleased to welcome Slobodan to Oakwell.

Tedic added: “It has always been a dream of mine to play in England and now I can say that I’m closer to achieving that.

“I will give 100% per cent, I hope to play well and I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and the staff at this great club.”
