YOUNGSTERS are being asked to draw a portrait of the Queen as part of the council’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
There are two age categories for the competition - those aged between four and seven and those aged between eight and 11.
All entries will be showcased in the council’s jubilee gallery and the winning entries will receive a Barnsley gift card.
A spokesperson said: “Send a photo of your portrait to communications@barnsley.gov.uk with your name, age and contact details.
“The closing date is Monday, June 6.”
