POLICE are appealing for information following reports of a man deliberately throwing a metal item at another car on the motorway.
It’s reported that on March 31, at around 4pm, the driver of a black Mini Countryman threw a metal object towards a white Volkswagen Caddy van.
The vehicles were travelling between junction 37 and 38 of the M1 northbound at the time.
A large dint was made to the van by the object.
A police spokesperson said: “The driver of the vehicle is described as a black man with facial hair, and he is believed to have been wearing a Nike baseball cap.
“Did you witness anything?
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 665 of March 31 2022.”
