ST JOHN Ambulance are on the lookout for voluntary first-aiders in Barnsley.
Full training and uniform is provided and all applicants for the voluntary role must be 18 and over.
Arran McCallum, a unit manager for St John Ambulance, said: “As a unit manager myself the importance of knowing what to do in a medical emergency is very rewarding.
“The difference between a life lost and life saved is us.
“We attend and provide medical cover to a large range of events within Barnsley and surrounding areas.
“We also attend events further away such as Doncaster Races, football, galas, festivals and many more.”
