THE Met Office has issued a cold weather warning for Barnsley until Thursday.
The warning means to expect ‘very cold’ weather and the council are encouraging residents to use the support on offer.
A council spokesperson said: “Cold weather can be hard for people with long-term health conditions, under 5s and over 65s.
“You can find lots of support here.”
