A CUDWORTH primary school has teamed up with a local home builder to celebrate Halloween in style.

Barratt Homes Yorkshire West invited pupils from Birkwood Primary School to take part in creating some ‘spook-tacular’ colouring sheets.

In exchange they received a voucher to spend on educational supplies as part of the company’s ongoing work to support the local community.

Dan Wood, headteacher from Birkwood Primary School said: “It was great to see the children use their artistic flair in this fun and creative activity from Barratt Homes.

“We’re really grateful for the opportunity to have taken part and look forward to using our voucher to further benefit our pupils’ education.”

Sam Wood, sales director at Barratt Homes Yorkshire West, added: “With the evenings getting darker, Halloween is a great time of year for children to get crafty which is why we teamed up with Birkwood Primary School on this activity.

“There’s no trick when it comes to Barratt Homes, just treats, which is why we’re delighted to be supporting the school with some educational supplies that will benefit all of its pupils.”
