SOUTH Yorkshire Police has released a poster for residents to use if they don’t want trick-or-treaters turning up at their door on Sunday.

The poster has been released as part of the force’s Dark Nights campaign which aims to keep people safe during Halloween and Bonfire Night.

A police spokesperson added: “Halloween is fast approaching and a lot of children attend people’s addresses to take part in trick or treating.

“Please be aware that some people do not like this, especially as it is dark.”
