RESIDENTS in the town centre will have the chance to have their say on crime in their area thanks for police surgeries held this week.

The Central Neighbourhood Policing Team will hold three street surgeries on Wednesday.

The first will be held at 11am at the North East corner of the Glassworks Square.

The second will be held in the 'hole-in-the-road' Alhambra Roundabout at 12.30pm.

At 1.30pm the third surgery will be held at the Dog lane Steps, Peel Parade.

Neil Makinson, a PCSO with the team said: “This is an opportunity for you to speak to your officers and discuss policing issues and concerns in Central Ward.

“Please be mindful that officers may be called away to emergencies at short notice.

“We look forward to seeing you and having a chat.”
