BARNSLEY failed to win for the seventh game straight after losing away at Blackpool on Saturday.
Markus Schopp’s side lost 1-0 at Bloomfield Road, putting the Reds in 20th position and just three points above the drop zone.
Shayne Lavery’s 32nd minute winner left the Reds winless in seven games.
They’ll hope to pick up their form once again when they take on Nottingham Forest at Oakwell on Wednesday.
