SOUTH Yorkshire Police has released a guide on the telltale signs of child exploitation.

The guide was released on their social media pages to ensure that people know what to do if they suspect or have concerns about a friend or a relative.

Some of the signs include a change in behaviour, unexplained injuries, a sudden change in friends, and spending more time online secretly.

A spokesperson for the police said: “If you have been a victim, or you have concerns about a friend or a relative, there is help available.

“You can report this to us through our Live Chat function, online portal, or through 101.

“Always call 999 in an emergency.”
