NIGHT roadworks are set to take place next week as work to the Dodworth Road improvement scheme continues.
Northern PowerGrid will carry out ducting works for three nights between 8pm and 5am.
Two-way traffic lights will be installed outside 188 Dodworth Road to help ease the flow of traffic.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “Work during the night will help to reduce the impact on daytime commutes and pupils accessing the college.
“We'll be doing all we can to work with contractors to minimise disruption.
“We thank residents for their patience during this time.”
The work will be carried out from Monday to Thursday next week.
