NEXT week new traffic plans will be in place along Dodworth Road works to the gyratory continue.
From Monday, (September 6) vehicles wishing to access Horizon Community College must follow the diversion to Barnsley town centre when travelling from Pogmoor Road or from the M1.
Vehicles travelling from the town centre can access the school without any diversion.
There will be a 'no right turn' restriction when leaving the school onto Dodworth Road.
Any vehicles wishing to travel from the school to the town centre should follow the diversion to the M1 and then follow the new gyratory.
Pedestrians are also advised to use the existing temporary crossing points at all times while the works are carried out.
