A VIRTUAL pride event will be held next month to help celebrate the LGBT+ community in the NHS.
The event will take place from September 6 to 10 and is dedicated to LBGT+ NHS colleagues.
The virtual arena will feature guest speakers, performances from the local community, and a guest appearance by season two contestant of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK, Ginny Lemon.
A spokesperson for the NHS South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust said: “We learned through the pandemic that 2020’s Virtual Pride opened up more opportunities than ever for LGBT+ people to join in with the activism and celebrations and to connect with each other in new and exciting ways.”
The theme of this year's event is elevate, educate, celebrate.
