ANYONE heading to Meadowhall shopping this weekend can also use it as an opportunity to get vaccinated.

The popular centre will be holding a walk-in clinic for anyone over the age of 16 to receive either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine.

The clinic will be held over two days this weekend.

Today it will be held from 2pm to 8pm and tomorrow it will take place from 9am to 6pm.

You do not need an appointment or GP registration.

Barnsley Council has backed the move.

A council spokesperson said: “If you're heading to Meadowhall this weekend, you can get your Covid-19 vaccine while visiting.

“If you've not yet had your first dose, why not pop along to the drop-in clinic below?

“The process is quick, and anyone aged 16 and over can now get their vaccine.”
