SOME libraries across the borough will be affected by half-an-hour closures in the coming weeks.

Between Monday and August 28, the following libraries will be closed between 1pm and 1.30pm each day:

  • Goldthorpe Library

  • Hoyland Library

  • Mapplewell Library

  • Royston Library

  • Wombwell Library

A spokesperson for Barnsley Libraries said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
