PATIENTS registered at Brierley Medical Centre are being given the opportunity to have their say about the treatment they have received.

In a survey launched by the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), patients will be asked to share their experiences which will help inform future plans for the practice.

All GP practices have a contract to provide NHS services – the current contract for the medical centre will run out on November 30.

GP services will continue to be provided by the service after this date, but the CCG are hoping to find ways the service can be improved for patients.

A spokesperson for Barnsley CCG said: “Registered patients of Brierley Medical Centre can help the local NHS with the selection process by telling us what they think of their GP services.

“The CCG will use the themes from the feedback to develop some questions to ask all bidders.”

If you would like to take part in the survey visit www.barnsleyccg.nhs.uk/brierley, or you can fill out a paper survey which has been sent to each patient.

The CCG team will also be at Brierley Methodist Church, August 18 from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and from 5pm to 6pm to take feedback.
