A BARNSLEY central councillor joined volunteers on a litter pick to help keep her local area clean.
Coun Summer Risebury joined the team from the Neighbourhood Services, the town centre wardens and Humankind to clean up Burleigh Court and John Street car park.
Together the team collected 34 bags of litter.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “Our wardens will continue to try to make our town centre a safe place for people to work, visit and shop.”
