FIREFIGHTERS were called to seven deliberate fires last week - many of which involved vehicles.
Since Monday a total of eight fires in the borough have been reported by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue - including one Hoyland house fire.
Four fire engines were called to a terraced house on Booth Street on Wednesday night - the crews deemed the blaze had started accidentally and involved a consumer unit.
Seven of the eight fires throughout the week were deliberately started, two involved cars and three wheelie bins were set alight.
