A FAST food restaurant will gain two new electric vehicle charging stations after plans were approved by Barnsley Council.
The stations will be built in the car park of the Upper New Street McDonald’s branch.
Plans were originally submitted in April before being approved on Monday by the council’s planning board.
The charging points will be situated next to two of the car parking spaces on site, together with two bollards each and a feeder pillar.
