Vaccine drop-in centre comes to market

A VACCINE drop-in clinic will be held this weekend to help continue the vaccination effort.

The clinic will be held in the Market Kitchen, upstairs in the Glass Works and will be available for the following groups:

• For the first dose for anyone aged 40 and over

• Second dose for anyone who had the first dose of the Astra Zeneca jab on or before April 4

A spokesperson for Barnsley CCG said: “All the other vaccination clinics across the borough on Saturday are taking place as usual, so please keep your appointments there.

“For everyone aged 25 to 39, your first vaccine appointment is waiting for you online. Visit nhs.uk/covidvaccine or call 119 to book. Future drop-ins may take place but our best advice is always to get your vaccine booked as soon as you're eligible.”
