A YOUTUBE sensation who rates takeaways returned to his hometown to see how one of its popular venues fared against competitors.
Danny Malin, from Rate My Takeaway, visited Cali Cruz in Athersley North.
He ordered Mexican loaded fries, an Oreo milkshake and built his own burger which had two beef patties, a southern fried chicken patty, bacon, cheese, a potato waffle, fried onions, coleslaw, crushed nachos and salad on it.
After setting up his travel table outside the shop, Danny – who has amassed almost 200,000 subscribers – tucked into the burger.
“It was like a Christmas present, it just kept on giving,” said Danny. “It was an absolute burger dream – everything was cooked to perfection.
“In my hometown of Barnsley I have a burger worth coming home for.”
Danny rated the experience as a nine out of ten.
