A LOCAL law firm will put down their laptops, and don their walking boots in an effort to raise cash for the hospice.
Colleagues from Ison Harrison Solicitors will embark on a sponsored walk tomorrow (May 22) as part of the hospice's accumulator challenge.
The challenge sees businesses across the borough attempt to raise as much money as possible for the charity, in just one month.
Dan Kenworthy, branch manager at Ison Harrison, based on Regent Street, said: “Our Worsborough Walk will raise money directly for the hospice and also help our staff add some miles to their running total for our Yorkshire Law Firm Challange. Ison Harrison is committed to supporting local communities and supporting our staff’s well-being and this event achieves both.
“We are very pleased to support a charity like Barnsley Hospice which does such good work for so many people in the borough and relies on donations to keep going.”
