NOMINATIONS for a national award are open for residents to recognise NHS staff that have gone ‘above and beyond’ in the past year.
Earlier this month, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) opened nominations for the RCN Nursing awards.
The Patient’s Choice Award is an opportunity to thank a nurse or healthcare worker at Barnsley Hospital who has made a positive change to a patient.
A spokesperson for the awards said: “In the most challenging time in NHS history, the RCN Nursing Awards are back to recognise excellence in nursing and healthcare.
“The 2021 awards acknowledge the outstanding efforts, commitment and achievements made by the whole of the nursing community.”
