A 12-YEAR-old boy was taken to hospital yesterday following a collision with a car.
At 2.50pm, officers were called to Engine Lane, Shafton on April 26 following reports of a road traffic collision involving a child and a car.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: "It is believed that a grey Proton Gen 2 GLS car collided with a 12 year-old boy.
"The boy was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries."
