A MAN has been charged following an alleged assault on a town centre warden in the town centre on Tuesday (April 13).
Wesley Gummerson, 59, of Barnsley Road, was arrested after the warden called for assistance from the Barnsley Central Neighbourhood Team at 2.30pm.
Gummerson has been charged with common assault and bailed to next appear in court on June 17.
