POLICE completed patrols around Penistone after antisocial behaviour was reported in the area.
On Thursday, officers from the Barnsley West Neighbourhood Policing Team patrolled the area around Penistone cemetery after a fire was lit there.
A spokesperson for the team said: “We ask residents to treat the area with respect and we hope you encourage others to do the same.
“We will continue to closely monitor and patrol this location to discourage this behaviour from continuing. Thank you for your continued support.”
