STUDENTS from Barnsley College were in for a treat when First Dates star, Fred Sirieix, spoke about his career in the hospitality industry.
Fred spoke virtually to the students and offered tips about how to be successful in the industry.
He told students about his career, from working front-of-house in a Michelin-star restaurant in France before working at La Tante Claire, Le Gavroche, Sartoria, Brasserie Roux and Galvin at Windows in London.
Louis Millthorpe, a level two culinary skills student, said: “I enjoyed listening to Fred talk about his overall life experience and the story he told about working in various roles in the hospitality industry. Having listened to Fred’s feedback I am determined to succeed in the industry and become a successful chef.”
