A RETAIL hub - that had been forced to close during the lockdown - is gearing up to reopen and raise vital funds for Barnsley Hospice.
The Barnsley Hospice Retail Hub, based at Fall Bank industrial estate in Dodworth, has been given the green light to reopen its doors from April 12 in line with government guidelines.
The hub, which was forced to close its charity shops as a result of the pandemic, will enforce social distancing and face covering throughout the store.
All proceeds will be donated back into the hospice.
A spokesperson for the retail hub said: “We very much look forward to welcoming you back to our one-stop charity shop.
“The retail hub offers hundreds of bargains under one roof and raises vital funds for the hospice.
“We’ll continue to take measures to keep you safe and secure. Hand sanitiser will be available on entry and we ask all shoppers to wear face coverings (unless medically exempt) and observe social distancing while in store.
“The retail hub will be open from April 12, 9am until 4pm on Monday through to Saturday.
“Thank you so much for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you soon.”
