GOLDTHORPE residents are being urged to take part in a survey which could help introduce a low traffic neighbourhood in the area.

The Low Traffic Neighbourhood Scheme, or the Quiet Street scheme, aims to create designated spaces that allow people to maintain social distancing while walking, running, or exercising.

On these dedicated streets, slow vehicle access is recommended, and traffic can be restricted from travelling along these roads to allow for community access.

The Quiet Streets will allow children and residents to have a safe space outside of their homes.
