SMITHIES Lane will be temporarily closed from today as telecoms work will begin.
The road will be closed for up to two weeks to allow the installation words to take place.
The closure will take place 20 metres either side of the railway bridge.
An alternate route is available via Cockerham Lane, Huddersfield Road, Old Mill Lane, Wakefield Road.
The Smithies Lane recycling centre will remain open with access via Wakefield Road.
