CHILDREN from Barugh Green Primary school were inspired after having their questions answered by a police officer.
PC Lindsey Howard, from SouthYorkshire Police, delivered an online learning session to year two and three pupils at the school on February 4.
PC Howard spoke to the children about her role as a police officer and how she helps people within the community.
Deputy headteacher at the school, Jo Burton, said: “Lindsey was really great and it was lovely for the children to be able to speak to a police officer.
“They have been learning about the emergency services and what their role is in the community so it was a real boost for them.
“They asked some amazing questions about the police dogs and whether it is easy to catch criminals and Lindsey gave some really great answers too.”
