MULTIPLE fire crews from Cudworth, Barnsley and Tankersley stations were called out to a bungalow fire in Carlton yesterday evening.
Firefighters arrived at 9.55pm (January 18) to tackle the blaze on Ridgeway Crescent.
The fire was accidental and caused by a fault to the electric supply at the bungalow.
There were no casualties and the fire was put out by 2.25am.
Elsewhere that night, firefighters from Barnsley station were called to a rubbish fire in Royston at 11.45pm.
The team tackled the blaze on Boulder Bridge Lane, which is believed to have started accidentally.
The team left at 1.10am.
