BARNSLEY Museums’ family learning team showed their festive spirit this month - delivering 500 activity packs to children throughout Barnsley.
The project was created in a bid to help support wellbeing amongst children and families in Barnsley, whilst also providing an access to creative arts and activities through the new pack.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “Barnsley Museums’ Family Learning Team have been showing their Barnsley spirit this month, creating and delivering 500 activity packs to children across the borough.
“The project, funded by Awards 4 All, helps to provide increased access to arts activities and support wellbeing amongst children and families.
“The Barnsley Museums Makes Winter Activity Packs include make your own snow globe, stocking, and candy cane activities along with seasonal recipes to keep families busy over Christmas.”
