THREE people were taken to hospital following a collision last night in Thurgoland.
At 4.55pm yesterday, police officers responded to reports of a road traffic crash on Halifax Road, travelling from Thurgoland towards Wortley.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “It is reported that two cars, a red Mini and a white Toyota, were involved in a collision.
“The drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries.
“The passenger of the Toyota suffered serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
“All three were taken to hospital for treatment via ambulance.”
