POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a car and a teenage motorcyclist in Wath-upon-Dearne.The incident, which happened on Manvers Way between 5pm and 5.20pm on Friday January 3, reportedly involved a Green Lexmoto Viper motorbike and a silver Honda CRV.The 18-year-old man riding the motorbike was taken to hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
He has since been discharged and is now recovering.The driver of the Honda, a 52-year-old man, was not injured.Anyone who has information or dashcam footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 587 of January 3, or submit their footage by email to enquiries@southyorks.pnn.police.uk.
