Rent for Life

Tuesday April 17 2018

UP to a third of adults who were born between 1980 and 1996 face the prospect of renting a home their entire lives.

The cost of living, people buying second homes and lack of affordable housing is said to be contributing the issue.

Many are falling into the 'cycle of renting', as renting is a step many take to gain independance but then do not earn enough to save to buy their own home.

Should more be done to help people get on the property ladder?
