Royston Community Gala Cancelled
Friday July 6 2012
THE ROYSTON community gala that was scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled due to the rain.
The event - which was going to feature a brass band concert and a presentation for the Royston Dynamos - has been postponed after weather warnings were issued by the Environment Agency.
Paul Jolley, who helped organise it, said: "The grass is waterlogged and it's just really unfavourable conditions for a gala. We have done what we can but we really need to get the word out."
