From Smithy Close to 4 Church Cottages 
Temporary road closure (Sundays only) to safely enable carriageway resurfacing.
Diversion route to be advised locally

HALIFAX ROAD - WORTLEY
From Smithy Close to 4 Church Cottages Temporary road closure (Sundays only) to safely enable carriageway resurfacing.
Diversion route to be advised locally

RACECOMMON ROAD - BARNSLEY
Full length Temporary one way restriction allowing traffic to travel from Keresforth Hill Road towards Townend Roundabout only to safely enable carriageway resurfacing works.

From Park View to Church Street Temporary road closure to safely enable carriageway reconstruction works.

Forgot the one on Dearne hall road closed this morning no signs up yesterday when I went down it

I can honestly say that the guys working on Racecommon rd Barnsley have been and remain very professional and efficient in the work they do, taking care to keep the traffic moving, well done guys.

Which idiots were in charge of closing Dearne Hall Road this morning. Sign was up telling motorists it was closed but not at 4 lane ends where anyone with an ounce of brain would have put the road closed signs but right down the road near the bridge. Cars causing problems trying to turn road.

yellow lines painted on racecommon road couple a months ago, now they are resurfacing it,more council tax wasted

They're only resurfacing the top part from Longcar Lane upwards.
