Barnsley duo arrested over traveller site incident

A BARNSLEY man and teenage boy were arrested over a disturbance at a travellers' site in Ipswich in which two caravans were set on fire and a horse was killed.

They were arrested over an incident the West Meadows travellers' site, alongside two men aged 31 and 22 from Ipswich and a 19-year-old man from Wickford, Essex.

They were held on suspicion of violent disorder.

Disgusting what had the poor horse done, why are they only getting done for violent disorder when they should be up for animal cruelty as well

I am confused. How the hell were these Barnsley men if they are travellers? Barnsley gets enough bad press without this. I used to think travellers were good to animals but I think I was mistaken, I read about travellers who wanted to get rid of a horse so attached it to a cart and drove it into a pond so it drowned, I think that was near Ipswich too. Disgusting if true.

You have confused yourself.

Nowhere does it say these men are travellers. They are people from Barnsley who were arrested over a disturbance at a travellers site.

If you get arrested for fighting on Sheffield road they dont say you are from Sheffield road.
