Syringes found in Cudworth and Wombwell

Monday October 24 2016

We Are Barnsley We Are Barnsley

THIS week alone We Are Barnsley recieved two reports of syringes littered on streets in Cudworth and Wombwell.

Barnsley Council said:
Don't handle discarded needles unless absolutely necessary.

If you do need to move them urgently because they're a danger to children, make sure you wear disposable gloves and use tweezers to pick them up.

Place the discarded needles in a glass bottle or jar and keep them locked in a safe place until we can collect them for disposal.

If you find a syringe you can report it on: https://www.barnsley.gov.uk/services/bins-rubbish-and-recycling/discarded-needles-and-syringes/#

As a law abiding citizen I am infuriated that this is even an issue.

- The users who are carelessly discarding needles should have their bloody hands cut off.
- The agency issuing the users the needles should have a serious look at their duty of care obligations - they shouldn't be handing out syringes like sweets, they should make the users use the dam drugs in a bloody controlled environment and dispose of the used syringes in a HTM approved container.
All Syringes issued should be batch assigned and registered to issuers and users for easy identification

I have made two valid points with one intentionally extreme point listed (and if it isn't edited by the site management, would provide an immediate fix to the problem) to identify that the masses are too concerned about the wellbeing of the perpetrator/s than that of the members of society who are making a positive contribution to society.

What if this was your street, what if it was your child, mother, sister, brother, father, who gets stuck with one of these syringes and contracts god knows what - and dies a horrible slow painful death because some jerk is not content with ruining their own existence and is too lazy to put the syringe in a receptor and returning it for safe disposal.

Disgusting,I would stop giving these scumbags needles so they have to use old dirty ones and die of quicker and if they stopped giving them out to them they won't be able to throw them away as they would become more valuable to the skag heads

Maybe we should take the same approach as is happening in the Philippines at the moment where by Presidential declaration over 700 drug dealers and users have been killed by Police and vigilantes in the last three months.
These people are a total drain on society, have nothing to offer, intimidate people in the town centre and a waste of the air they breathe.

Well the next thing you commentators will call for is the introduction of sharia law! So much for compassion eh?

Compassion has lead us down this needle filled road, "bobby" - I wonder how much compassion you'd feel contracting HIV from a dirty syringe.
