Old pub could become new Co-op

Tuesday September 27 2016

The Bush Inn The Bush Inn

A DERELICT pub will be turned into a new Co-op store if plans are approved by the council.

The Brook Group is behind the plans for the Bush Inn at Kingstone.

The group bought the pub a few years ago when it was already derelict.

A decision is due to be made on the planning application by November 1.

Just what this area needs

Much needed improvement and will be welcomed by many especially the large number of elderly in the area. The derelict pub has been an eyesore for years my only gripe is that it was left so long in such a state.

Co-op! Couldn't we have a Waitrose?

@ 'Aunt Hilda'
Why would you want a Waitrose there instead of a Coop? Their food is overpriced and dependent on 'snob' value which some people are prepared to pay for. A Coop store in this spot will be excellent.

Such a shame. Used to be a love pub but it's an eyesore now. A Co-op would be a welcome addition to the area
