This is why the council should pay to put Cctv in all taxis and private hire vehicles to protect the drivers as well as passengers, surly the safety of everyone is paramount to everything !! Taxi drivers lives matters !!

CCTV in cabs would be great but why should the council tax pay for it. Essential services are being cut to the bone so if money can't be found for these then where will it come from to pay for CCTV

Why are the council paying for cctv in private taxi's? The employer/individual is responsible, not the council.

Why on earth has somebody attacked a driver and stolen a taxi, of all things? What did he think he was going to do with the taxi? oh abandon it just down the road. Insane.
