A TV production company is looking for locals to star in a new BBC cooking competiton.

Voltage TV says it wants to hear from locals who have a passion for food and home cooked dishes.

Frankie Mensah, Casting Producer said: "This will be the next big cooking competition to hit our screens and we are searching for Britain’s best family of home cooks.

"We want to hear from people who are renowned for their home cooked dishes. Do you have a family recipe that have been passed down for generations? Is your Nan’s Irish stew the best in the area? Is your Yorkshire Pudding to die for?"
