Dugher hits out at Government over cancer waiting times

MP Michael Dugher has hit out at the Government after new figures released by the NHS suggest that patients with suspected cancer are waiting longer to be seen at Barnsley Hospital.

In May, the percentage of people seen within 62 days of referral by a GP was 79 per cent - below the Government’s target of 85 per cent.

Nationally, the situation is worse, with the target of 85 per cent only being met once over the past six months.

Mr Dugher said: "The Government must now do its part to put patients first and stop undermining places like Barnsley Hospital, who do everything they can to deliver excellent healthcare despite Government cuts.

“It is totally unacceptable that people with suspected cancer regularly have to wait longer than two months for their first treatment.”

Where the hell has Dogher & Jarvis been whist the Tory's have been bleeding places like Barnsley dry.... They were probably too busy plotting a coup against the Party's democratically elected leader.... shame on them.

Are you under the illusion that those two above give a monkeys about the people of this town?

They are only in it for the money of the never ending Labour Gravy Train!

But alas the good people of this once proud town CONTINUE to vote the Labour clowns in time after time after time...

Mr James comment identifies him immediately as a sad UKIP supporter, a dying breed, lamenting his party's loss of its main income the EU gravy train! Bless
