Fire crews have issued a warning Fire crews have issued a warning

FIRE CHIEFS have issued a warning to homeowners after revealing they have attended over 100 blazes caused by faulty tumble dryers in the last five years.

Fire crews are urging people to sign up to receive alerts when faulty electrical products are recalled.

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue says it has attended 117 house fires involving tumble dryers since 2011, with faults with appliances responsible for three quarters of the incidents.

Last year a major product recall was issued for Hotpoint, Indesit and Creda dryers amid safety fears.

WELL guess what we put our Tumble Dryer Model and Part Code on the web site in January and was told it was part of the recall and they would be in touch to rectify the potential Child killing and Burn your house down problem if you smell smoke call 999 problem, and here we are in May, nothing done ... so my brave Heroes of the Fire Brigade ,,, ( You Are x ) .. Dont Tell us ... Tell the Trading Standards Officers to stop drinking coffee and actually do something about it .. Like .. NOW ..
