Helicopter Mobilised In Search For Missing Boy

THE police helicopter was mobilised in Darfield yesterday to assist in the search of a missing local boy.
The chopper, call sign SY99, was called to the area at around 8pm to help locate a ten-year-old boy that had run away from home.
After a short search, he was eventually found by officers on the ground and returned home safely.
