A BARNSLEY woman and her partner are helping to develop a Facebook site to raise awareness of online grooming.

The 'Hunters' Facebook page was created in February - and has already been liked over 3,000 times.

Admins Bec and Daz, both from Barnsley, have four children between them.

They got involved becase they say they were shocked to discover the extent of online grooming.

The site has already helped to one arrest for the offence.

"We have opened a page that people feel comfortable to come to for advice both regarding wha apps to look for and check on their own children's smart phones and tablets." Bec said.

"They can also learn what signs to look for if they believe someone is being abused."

A go fund me page has been set up to help the group raise awareness through t-shirts, posters and leflets for a new campaign, #hunters.
