A 21-YEAR-OLD man remains in a critical condition in hospital after being run over on Westway.

Police are still appealing for witnesses following the collision earlier this week (Monday 11 April).

At about 10.05pm, a Renault Clio was travelling along Westway towards Townend roundabout, when it was involved in a collision with the man at the traffic light pedestrian crossing near to the junction with Wellington Street.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident where he remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Renault Clio, a 77-year-old man, was not injured during the collision.

He is still really really poorly! If anyone has any one saw anything can you please come forward his friends and family are going through hell at the minute!!
